The Past 3 Months...

Dear Madeline,
You were born on March 25, 2005 at 12:32 p.m. You weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces and were 20 inches long. It was Good Friday. You came into this world via an emergency c-section - you were "dancing" with your cord and coming down crooked (said the dr.).

We went home on March 27th, and you spent your first five nights in our bed. Then, migrated to the crib where you sleep through the night now!

Your cord fell off when you were 8 days old. You got your first bath on April 4th. Now, you love the bath so much!

12 days later, you witnessed the birth of automatic new best friend - your cousin Jenna.

You had your first sleepover at Grandma C's House on May 12th.

You rolled over for the first time on June 3rd.

At your two-month check-up (May 19th) you weighed 10 1/2 pounds and were two feet long. You got four shots (you screamed so hard no sound came out, and I cried).

Mommy went back to work on June 13th, but started crying on the 12th and continued until the 14th. Now, we have a routine and are doing really well.

You stay home with daddy for now (he's a teacher), but will go to Grandma D's house in September.

You went swimming for the first time on June 18th at a hotel in Cincinnati. You went swimming again at Salt Fork State Park on June 25th. You love water.

You come in once a week to have lunch with Mommy - you came today.
